Look over my list before I buy please

Artem

Hey guys,

I'm about to buy all my parts for my first loop, cpu only for now until I can afford more. I'm trying to take advantage of the cyber Monday sale so I'm ready to go, I just need someone experienced in watercooling to go through my cart and tell me if I'm missing anything before drop all this cash, which for a cpu only loop, is kind of a lot :)

Thanks

For 700 bucks you're just doing the CPU, you could do the CPU and the GPU for that price. Spending way to much money in the wrong places my friend.

It's $604 now that I removed the second cpu block I had in my cart. I'm going for a quality loop with room for expansion later. Not trying to skimp out on anything.

If it all fits your case and you have enough fittings it should be fine.

The only thing I can't confirm is that the 3 port cap will fit on top of the res, make sure it can before you buy.

Besides that all the components will fit together and work.

Not sure you will need all 3 stop caps but they are relatively cheap anyway.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

if your not gonna cool your GPU its doing a custom loop is awfully expensive.  but it does look like your going for expensive since your spending  250$ on a D5 pump/res when a DDC would be more then powerful enough.

it will fit. not what I'd get for just a CPU though.

Case is getting modded to fit the triple rad up top, and I have six total fittings which is what I need.

Cap is made for that res I believe.

Changed the plug fittings to two instead of three. I got them for the three holed top, I don't know why I selected three.

Ok looks like ill be putting the order in, thanks!

I'm getting the D5 pump because I never want to buy another pump until this one dies. In other words, I don't want to be upgrading later, I would much rather just buy what I am going to need right away. Future plans include adding two of my 780's to the loop and a difference case with two 480 rads.

1 DDC would probably still work with the extra stuff, but the D5 makes more sense knowing your plans to expand.

oh the aqua pipe thing, I wouldn't bother with it have one in my reservoir and it creates a lot of turbulence in the res. Which means as soon as there any air in my res some of it gets sucked into my pump. since I went with water cooling for silence I wish I'd taken it out.

There aren't many water cooling parts that aren't high quality (Except that XSPC bay/res combo) a $50 water block will have little performance difference form a $100 one just get what looks the best.

I could, but it's only a cpu loop! :)

Looks good, props for not drinking the koolaid. That pump is a workhorse, I'd never take a DDC over a D5 if you have the option.
