URGENT!! PC IS BEEPING

Timbs

Hello, I just got done with a memory upgrade. I was previously at 14GB, and went to 18GB. However, my motherboard only supports up to 16GB. I can't take out the 2GB stick, as then it would be tri-channel. That is the only thing I messed with, could that be the issue?

If the ram isn't matched, then take out the unmatched ram and try booting.

It's generally not recommended to have all sorts of ram from different brands

*UPDATE*

After a bit of searching around, the beep codr I get (Long, continuous), is RAM or GPU related. If ypu don't get signal, its GPU. I am noy getting any signal. I have reseated the GPU several times and nothing is helping. Any help is appreciated.

*ANOTHER UPDATE*

Fixed the issue. The memory I received was the culprit the whole time. After booting with another GPU I had laying around, and then no GPU, I narrowed it down to the memory. I removed  1 4GB stick, and placed in one of my old 2GB sticks, giving me exactly 16GB. Still had the booting issue. Then I just replaced the other 4GB stick with my other 2GB stick, and it booted right up! Glad to say that my GPU isn't fried.
