Best eGPU Solution for my Macbook

So first things first a little backstory, I've been working as a IT Service Provider for this company for a little while now, and I was just given the opportunity to live in California for a few months while I work under contract for another company and graciously accepted as I've always wanted to go to California which is literally on the other side of the US from me in lil' old Rhode Island- and so rather than taking my hulking desktop and setup with me, I got the idea that I can take a monitor or two, my MacBook, some peripherals, and an eGPU to be able to do all the dual booting goodness I need.

 

However this is the "hard" part, finding a good looking and working eGPU enclosure that won't break the bank. I'm looking for something that meets the following criteria;

• Sub 400$ (USD obviously)
• Thunderbolt 3.0
• Doesn't need to be massive, a short GPU like the one I'll be installing (SFF GTX 1060 by EVGA) is all I'll need to fit
• Silver Color Preferably
• Decent Power Supply capable of powering the 1060 and better, just in case

Nothing unless you install Windows. At least I can't recall any that don't use Texas 1st gen controllers.

I have bootcamp all setup, so I will be using Windows when I wanna game and MacOS when i want to do some regular work stuff.

Yeah, I know several work perfectly fine with MacOS, I'm just looking for a really good one.

In a few weeks Apple will release macOS High Sierra (macOS 10.13) and will release full support for external GPUs in macOS shortly after. 

 

Waiting for Apples full support would be best.

Just saw the mantiz venus, looks like that might be the one. Saves me the $100 or so buying a nice dock too, and has pretty much everything I want while being compact and pretty. Thanks!
