LG's V30 Phone adds "customizable" audio

im not sure if that customisable audio from the news strip applies but i would really like to know if this is acctualy going to work well and if so then how high quality is it.

 

however it does seem that the sound quality is decent form the in phone app tests

V series had great audio every time. Apparentky V20s Quad DAC was a marvel to experience. I wouldn't know from experience, LG didn't release the phone in Europe for some reason. Hopefully they change their minds.

Oh god no MQA, take that shit and kill it with fire. It looks impressive when you read about it,  but then you try it and it just sucks ass, it sounds like someone rolled off a flac file.

Also LG please sell it in EU.

There have been some rumors about v30 being available in Europe. I'll be changing phone in October so I hope that V30 will be available in EU

I have the V10 and the audio on this is insane with the hifi dac turned on. Only thing that sucks is lg all but entirely drops support within 6 months. I've got maybe 1-2 security patches over the 2 years I've owned it and no major updates.

really, i thought they would have had a better and longer support system in place for such a specialised phone

Actually yeah your right, marshmallow came out for it like a month after it's release iirc.

it's been out for a long time now, if you dont have  a US carrier phone, try searching the update with Bridge (LG's desktop program)

I have verizon, I'll have to look into that though. Verizon must take forever adding their bloatware

Yeah I love my v10 (minus the battery life, yay for swappable batteries) and still waiting for nougat on verizon

The V10 seemed to have been shat on, really. That said, apparently my Aristo is supposed to get the 8.0 update (currently stuck on 7.0.0), which is surprising.

Nougat should have come OTA to you by this point... Also, Oreo is in the works.

Hmmm... Looking on Verizon's website, I see no mention of Nougat. Furthermore, I don't see any for AT&T or Sprint either. Only T-Mobile. You may be out of luck

That is insane. Maybe it depends on carrier as well. My G5 has 7.0 with a security patch of July 2017. Maybe its cuz T-mobile is good at updating their phones compared to whatever you may have.
