Cheapest/Most efficient way to clone a laptop?

Hello,

 

My mom recently passed away and I wanted to give her MSI Laptop to my grandmother to use, but I want to clone her current computer so i can access it like it is now. Ideally i'd like to have her existing system cloned onto a 3.5" HDD so i can have it in my current PC tower.

 

I'm not sure of the cheapest way to do this, so I would greatly appreciate any suggestions/assistance.

Just DDU all the drivers and stuff and swap the hard drives

well, I assume he only has 2 drives, one 2.5 inch, and one 3.5 inch.

If its a 2.5" drive, pull it out, plug it into your desktop, copy all the data off it, then put it back in the laptop, and give to your grandmother.

Sync RGB fans with motherboard RGB header.

You can create disk clones precisely using DD in linux. Make a bootable USB stick and boot into linux and use dd (plenty of guides online) and copy the entire contents to a drive or file and then you can go about utilising that copy as you wish.
