AMD predicted to go bankrupt by 2020

Source: https://www.overclock3d.net/news/cpu_mainboard/amd_predicted_to_go_bankrupt_by_2020/1#at_pco=smlwn-1.0&at_si=598ac80f8a14328d&at_ab=per-2&at_pos=0&at_tot=1

AMD has been predicted to go Bankrupt by 2020, with it's last hopes being pegged on Zen and other potential technological innovations.

For years now AMD has been losing money, and right now AMD can do very little about that, with a smaller budget compared to it's main competitors Intel and Nvidia and on the CPU side is forced to use a larger, less cost effective manufacturing process while still having to produce cheaper chips chips than intel.

Less cost effective manufacturing process

Do you realise zen dies are incredibly cheap for them to make and have high yields? I would even guess its cheaper than Intel... Not to mention using 1 die for all their products is another massive cost saving.

Lol. I just spent 3 mins typing something out and then I realised that it was from a 2 year old article. -.-

There's no way in hell that's gonna happen. They've been gaining quite a bit of traction with Ryzen and Polaris and I hope even more with Vega

i can't tell if this was posted to spur up the Intel fans, or if it's a troll post. though you could say it's both

Judge the product by its own merits, not by the Company that created it.

I saw the headline and thought, but they have been at danger point of bankruptcy for 4 years now, this media outlet is a bit slow on the uptake. LOL

The forecast has change somewhat, still not good, but they are not predicting bankruptcy anymore.

QuicK and DirtY. Read the CoC it's like a guide on how not to be moron.  Also I don't have an issue with the VS series.

Sometimes I miss contractions like n't on the end of words like wouldn't, couldn't and shouldn't.    Please don't be a dick,  make allowances when reading my posts.

I don't care. I'm so exited ATi has partnered with Valve though. Gonna pick up a Radeon card for Half Life 2! That launch event will be so sick!!!

Since AMD survived for so long under strong competition I dont think they will go bankrupt so easily. They just dont get the chance to slack down.
