AMD has been predicted to go Bankrupt by 2020, with it's last hopes being pegged on Zen and other potential technological innovations.

For years now AMD has been losing money, and right now AMD can do very little about that, with a smaller budget compared to it's main competitors Intel and Nvidia and on the CPU side is forced to use a larger, less cost effective manufacturing process while still having to produce cheaper chips chips than intel.

There's no way in hell that's gonna happen. They've been gaining quite a bit of traction with Ryzen and Polaris and I hope even more with Vega

I saw the headline and thought, but they have been at danger point of bankruptcy for 4 years now, this media outlet is a bit slow on the uptake. LOL

 

 

The forecast has change somewhat, still not good, but they are not predicting bankruptcy anymore.

Since AMD survived for so long under strong competition I dont think they will go bankrupt so easily. They just dont get the chance to slack down.

Since you and the article are from 2015, I did some "time traveling" and here's their stock over the last 5 years. Look at 2015, and look at 2017.
