GTX 780 AMP! Problem

BenjaTW

Hello,

i recently got an issue with my graphics card "i guess" it is that.

I can watch netflix and whatever on the browsers with no issues.

But when i try to play H1Z1 the screen starts to do what i recorded in my video.

When playing PUBG, the game randomly crashes or when the game finish the pc freezes nor game crashes.

So it most likely happens on "Heavy" Games.

i tried following solutions:

DDU Clean and Reinstall graphic drivers. (I tried various version. 375,70 and 376,33) and now i am currently running the latest nvidia driver.

I turned off the game mode

I turned off Game DVR recording in Xbox

I tried downclocking the graphics card.

I tried changing the graphic card to another pci-e slot.

I tried with some other pci-e power cables from psu.

And finally i tried with a clean installation of windows 10 pro 64bit.

Details on my graphic card:

It doesnt get above 65 celcius. (Normally i keep it under 60)

Zotac GTX 780 AMP! Edition

Never been overclocked nor is overclocked. (Only if the fabricants did it)

I just recorded a little video showing what my issue is, as i can't set a name on it.

That video looks like an overheating GPU to me, but 65c isn't that hot at all :S

Maybe you can try to take the card apart and apply fresh thermal paste. What PSU are you using? It could simply be that the GPU isn't receiving enough power.
