What fittings are minimum?

I know a lot of people will be saying, "I can't say anything until you show me your loop plan." But all I want to know is what are the minimum required fittings that you need for a loop, what I'm guessing 2 for each. If it helps I will be looking for compression fittings and using PETG 10/12mm from EK. Any help would be appreciated :)

For a very basic loop, 2 for the pump, 2 for the CPU, 2 for the rad, that's six in total but if you want a GPU in it it's 8 fittings. Can you do basic math?

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

2 per componant, but with hard-line must people use them for bends. Although if this is your first custom loop, I would strongly suggest soft tubing, learn that first.

2 cpu block , 2 rad, 2 pump, 2 res (nix if pump res combo unit) 2 per gpu, if you're smart 2 more, a 3way connector (Y or T) a dual male and a ball valve to drain it (or another good plan to keep water from ending up in your case when you need to drain)

This exactly what I received from a lot of people but what do I actually search to find for fittings for the parts.

EKWB has a loop configurator on their website and then it doesn't make you do the guessing game

If it's that you don't know the fittings to get for hard line tubing, https://www.ekwb.com/shop/fittings/compression-hdc/for-12mm-7-16-od-tubing

Like others say, 6 or 8 fittings, but depending on your loop plan you might want to get angled fittings like 90 degree fittings.

I feel like if you are struggling with something as simple as how many fittings, maybe a custom loop is a bit out of your league.

I agree. OP, if you really want to go with a custom loop but don't want to deal with any the hassle of sourcing all the parts, then EK's kits may be perfect for you.

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/kits

These include  everything needed to assemble the kit right in the box.

Pump, rad, block, tubing, and fittings all included. Basically it's a "just add water" situation.
