Obviously 144hz is better. But does it really make you a better player at aiming? I remember i saw some guy say that aiming in 144hz is easier than in 60 hz

Assuming the game is run at higher than 60FPS, you'll see more frames each second, which will result in smoother gameplay, which can help with aiming quickly and accurately.

Basically if you can see what's happening faster you can react faster.  Thus, any mlg pro 360 no scope Playa...

jk, but seriously there is a reason pros play at 300 fps on 244hz displays with low settings.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Yeah people can argue that it helps aiming. I won't disagree either because I feel better with my 144hz monitor. So the answer is definitely "Yes, get 144hz regardless".

144hz has just such a smooth feeling and exquisite sensation that you don't go back. Then you start to sound like the rest of us when we bitch about a difference in like 10 fps drop. Lol

Nope. There is no real significant difference between 144hz and 60hz in gameplay. It's just a gimmick that they try to upsell you.

As an owner of a 144hz monitor I can say without a doubt it is not a gimmick...

That's an F in the profile pic

For competitive games with lots of corner peaking the higher refresh rate really does help. When I'm playing r6 siege my game occasionally gets set to have a refresh rate of 60 and I play like crap, look into the setting discover, turn the setting correct and all of a sudden in doing great again.

Basically the refresh in screen helps you see the people you're trying to shoot sooner. There are more factors such as ping and fps but the refresh rate is a big part of it.

People say things like you can't see a difference. Seeing a difference and seeing someone sooner in a game are two very different things. Linus has also said he can see the difference from 60 to 100hz. Everyone is different. Competitive games get the highest refresh you can get, and the highest fps you can get.

I wasn't trolling, I was making an obvious joke. 9_9

He was reading somebody's username during The WAN Show so I clipped it.
