yeaa i tried 1.24-1.27v and overclock failed after 4 hours of prime95.While gaming my temprature rises to 73c.Is this much temprature can degrade my cpu?

that's fine, have you tried lower voltages?. you should try 3.8ghz with less than 1.4v. if it's all good go for 3.9ghz but make sure cooling is good

Nope. 73c is not enough.

73 shouldnt degrade the cpu but in the bios you can make the fan curve steeper or even always max. Im not even overclockong but i increased the fan curve heavily just for the longevity of my cpu. Its not even that loud.

Im also using the 1600 and stock. I want to get the cryorig h7

I already did that. After 60c my cooler runs at 100%.Here Ambient temp is high around 30c

Mine is 1.308v for 3.7ghz is it good or should i lower it?

I've successfully overclocked my Ryzen 5 1600 to 3.8 at 1.35v.  Tested cpu/fpu/cache with Aida64 for nearly 7 hours.  I don't use the stock cooler, but the Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4.  My temperatures on stock cooler were 73c.  With Noctua cooler, they dropped to 61c.  Ambient temps around 23c.

I've also successfully overclocked to 3.9 at 1.4125v.  Tested for about 1.5 hours.  Temps with Noctua averaged around 64c.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x  Board: Asus PRIME X570-P  Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8) DDR4-3000  Case: Fractal Design Define S

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070  SSD: HP EX950 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM

PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Platinum 750W  Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4  Monitor: Viotek GFT27DB 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz

I'm sticking with the 3.8 at 1.35v.  I'm comfortable with those temps and voltage.

My Cinebench scores at 3.8 vs 3.9 weren't enough of a difference to justify the increased voltage.  Above 1.4v worries me.

(Ignore the multiple scores.  I was testing different ram speeds (2933 vs 3200))

I know you said 1600 owners but i thought i would put my overclock for my 1700 as well. i got mine to run at 3.7 on all cores at 1.18v at one point and I did alot of testing and it was stable but then with newer bios it was no longer stable and I had to up it to 1.2 and then 1.25 and its finally really stable with stress testing done as well as heavy use in mutithreaded workloads like CAE programs like solidworks and ansys.

i will try to lower the voltages then
