Corsair H100.

Switched cases today. When I turned on my pc, it just said poof and and the lights on the cooler vanished.

There was a strong smell of something fried.

So I think I short circuited something, and my guess is the cooler is a rip, it's not lightning up anymore and my fans (which are connected to the cooler) isn't spinning.

What else should I check?

It boots but it just says CPU fail or something, press F1 to setup. But nothing happens when I press F1... Could the USB ports be cucked?

The motherboard lights up, the GPU lights up and spins up.

If the CPU is alright I was thinking about picking up a NZXT KRAKEN X62.

CPU cooler is dead, it wont let you boot into windows, you need to get a new one m8, only way.

Editto: The fan on the cooler is dead, you just need to get a new fan.

well, you dun fucked up... maybe the cooler got a shortage due a leakage if the liquid in there is conductive.

I'll just take it down to a local pc shop, I can't really see why it short-circuited. No leaks as far as I can see..

Make sure that you took the plastic film off the bottom of the cooler and that there is thermal paste there. Also make sure that its tightened down and its all connected properly. If those are all true then return it.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
