Best $150 range GPU (Excluding recent price rise)

Hello :D

Recently I was thinking of upgrading from my intel 4600 graphics, and wanted to know the best card I could get for around $150. I like GeForce and would prefer it if the performance is close, but I can also go for AMD.

I was doing a little research myself, and was wanting to go for the RX 470. Any thoughts?

the amount of GB on the gpu goes with performance it has the same amount as a 1050 ti and RX 560 at 4GB but you get a better bang for dollar with speed going with the 1050 Ti

What are you even talking about?

The Rx 470/570 is much faster than the 1050ti

The 470/570 is a much better deal.  Good luck finding one though.

But that's not within his budget, so its irreverent even though it is faster

First off, go learn anything about how GPUs work because you tried to say that the amount of Vram a card has dictates performance.

Second, the OP mentioned wanting a 470/570.

Ok one dude I can make a mistake, you pointed it out so thanks. But try and keep yourself in check man before stuff just looks bad on both are parts. If he can get one then go for it.

Or you can buy new and get way less performance of course.

The benchmark between the 780 and 1050 ti were pretty close, and i'd want to go for the 1050 ti since it's a recent card.

1050Ti is equal to a 680.

Will a 1050 Ti FTW edition overclock all that more than a regular 1050 Ti sc would? Would it make that big of a difference?

Nah it's not worth the extra money for the FTW. The 1050ti doesn't have a heating issue so they basically all overclock about the same. It really comes down to the silicon lottery after that and even then there really isn't that much of a difference between cards.
