Even when I put the b85 and the i5 4590 it still says not compatible...

if you go x58, you will want triple channel DDR3 otherwise, you aren't going to get the best performance out of the system the sabretooth x58 overclocks really well, paired with most of the i7 lineup,and the 965 should be no different.
