Can a scanner scan my handwritten notes with pencil that have been written on a composition notebook?

Also will i have to tear out one of my notebook pages, in order for the scanner to scan my notebook page, or can i keep my notebook pages intact to my notebook and scan it that way

Can a scanner pick up every detail on the page? for example: if my hand writing if faint and light

i'm trying to make my school notes into digital .png files, so i can study that way

Depends on how the scanner picks it up but if your writing is neat use something like adobe scan on your phone it converts what it can directly to text, some scanners also have that function built in.

To nitpick: The scanner will scan anything if it fits on the glas :D What u need is OCR software (optical character recognition) that transforms your handwriten notes into a text.

The free options tend to be hit and miss.

Best experience i had was with Adobe.
