The M3 is about double the performance of the Pentium.

The M3 has much faster single and multi core performance so it will perform better all around.

I am considering getting a new laptop (the eve V) that had a core m3 7y30 processor. 

 

My current laptop has an Intel Pentium N3530 in it 

 

I was just wondering which one would be faster at the Pentium has 4 cores but the m3 only has 2 with multi threading yet it more recent
