Hey my friend is looking for a Digital tablet for around 580 Dollars max.

What they are looking for is a type you can see what you are drawing on and can be used without a pc as well so not just a drawing pad.

I don't know much about these things but i think that pretty obvious hehe

Ps: They are shopping from Hungary so 580 USD is around 151.952 HUF (prices here are usually way higher than in the USA sadly)

@Vespertine Well if there is no other choice then i'm sure they would.

so it's pretty easy to get a very good drawing screen for that price. but one that works without a pc (aka: has the PC inside it) are much more expensive than that. like the wacomb Cintiq companion, and i don't think that thing is even produced anymore.

@SquintyG33Rs Yeah after looking around the cheapest one i found (In Hungary) was 1106,55 USD or 289.901 HUF

What do you think of these ones?

Wacom Intuos DRAW Pen S (CTL490D)

Wacom Intuos Pen&Touch Medium (CTH-680S)

Sorry but i couldn't find the product's page on their website so these links are from a Hungarian website.

These are the ones that don't show what you are drawing but they might be good?

Not sure how would someone draw without seeing what you are drawing though

I think i remember the first one is better. You plug them into a computer and see what you're drawing there

I get that but i still feel like it would be very difficult to find where things are unless there is a feature that shows where the pen is when it's near the drawing surface.

yeah basically it tracks about 1cm over the surface and will move the mouse and only clicks when you touch it.

@SquintyG33Rs

Oh alright that's much nicer.

So as it turns out there really aren't any digital tablets in Hungary that have a built in pc/has a screen that's not ridiculously expensive.

@SquintyG33Rs

Ah so these things really are a premium thing.

Kinda sucks because my friend doesn't really have access to a computer all the time.

Do you know if there are any system requirements for just the drawing pads like the Wacom Intuos DRAW Pen S (CTL490D) ?
