Should I try to oc my MSI 1050TI if it has no 6 pin plug? will it damage the motherboard trying to overdraw or will it limit itself if I use Afterburner?

Even if you overclock it to 1911Mhz, it would make a 10fps difference most of the time, so it's not worth it, it could damage the PCI-E Lane and even the PCI-E connector on the card.

10 FPS is not worth it??? What? :D

You can OC, the card will just be heavily power limited in OC capability.

In Superposition benchmark, I got 1,943 Mhz naturally with gpuboost and 100 Power usage on Afterburner

Not worth it when it could damage the actual PCI-E lane, and spending extra for 6-PIN variants could get you a better card anyway.

But he already has the card. And he won't damage anything, the power limit on the card won't allow it.

I already have the card. I got a bare pcb 1050ti for $100USD and took another heatsink/fan to make a REALLY cheap budget rig

I think I made out really well and now I can comfortably game until next gen of cards or the etherium craze dies and I can get a 1060/1070 for a reasonable price
