What uniform is this?

I am trying to find more information on my great grandfather. Does anyone know what kind of uniform this is? He was part of the Hitler youth program, but he was 17 in 1944 (when the pictures were taken) so I am kind of assuming that he got taken out and actually drafted, but I am not sure. (That's why I am posting here).

Looking it up on google, I'm seeing a ton of different names for it. Looking up "SS m32" shows pictures of it. 4 buttons on front, with 4 large pocket buttons. "Allgemeine SS" also comes up.

I did find it out, and you are kind of right. I have narrowed it down to the Heer, which was the Army division of the Wehrmacht. What I don't know if it is an infantry man's uniform or a tank operators uniform. With the lack of patches and the grainy picture quality I don't know if I ever will be able to find out.

Honestly, you'd be better going to a museum and asking an expert, they may tell you even more.

You know there would be self knowledge galore out there. You might as well start going to the brick and mortar buildings and put some actualy leg work into it rather then finger work.
