Ok i've got another problem now...

Now everything is working fine except the screen resoltion. It tells me it is 1080p but I can see it is ugly af and it is definately not 1080p. Any help? Also, I had to resize it...

Ok got it fixed idk how... When I changed the hdmi input of the cable (it was on hdmi 2 and i put it on 1) and it is now back to normal

Hey guys, I am here with my PC and when I try to turn it on my screen says no signal, it was working fine just before the vacations. As both GPU and CPU are overclocked I tried to take out the GPU and connect the cable to the motherboard but still nothing, I connected a fan to check if the MB was working and it is.

If it helps here are the specs:

PS= EVGA 430W

MB= MSI H81M-E33

CPU= i7 4790

GPU= GTX 960

Try to change your monitors input using the menu options. May of accidentally changed it to analog

I tried already, even tried with a HDMI and a VGA cable none works

Do you have any other HDMI or VGA cables laying around you can try to see if your cord broke?

Ok, this seems like a graphics card or monitor problem. Could you try and use another monitor? If that doesn't work you may need to ask someone else as graphic cards are not my forte, but it seems to me that maybe your graphics card broke.

Monitor isn't the problem, it works with another PC. GPU isn't the problem either because if it was it should work when i try to run without it

OK, list your specs or link to a pcpartpicker list. How long have you had the PC? did you build it? experience with building PCs?

OK, can you do me a favour and set your text colour to auto please, I'm using night theme and have to highlight the text to see what you wrote if not.

Well as you've had it that long and got things working before when upgrading at least that rules out common new builder problems like connections not in properly. What's the last hardware related thing you changed? and how long ago?

Last thing was the GPU a year ago

OK, we'll start off doing a minimal hardware test... take out everything except 1 stick of ram and boot SSD/HDD.

So just iGPU/CPU+cooler/1 stick RAM/PSU/HDD and connections left. Power on and see if it POSTs and=or boots into OS.

If no luck, Try reset CMOS again... if you don't have a rest CMOS button, do it by taking out the battery (remember to turn off PSU and press power button a few times to discharge capacitors first), leave battery out for 10 seconds, put it back in and turn on PSU again... then try to start PC again.
