Hello,
I need some help and advice on how to:

  1. Output audio through both my headphones and speakers at the same time.
  2. Switch between them when I only want to use one of them.

Headphones: ATH-M50x
Speakers: Logitech Z533
Motherboard: ASUS Z170 S

Is there any software I could use to be able to do both?

I do not use a DAC or AMP.

using realtek audio manager options, make front and rear output devices separate or something like that. It will make front header on case and motherboard audio connection two separate devices. Then just swap in playback devices. Or take a look at something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Behringer-Ultra-Compact-4-Channel-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B000KIPT30/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500750623&sr=8-1&keywords=behringer+headphone+amp
