Hi, just wondering if anyone owns or knows about how good is ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Mini, ZT-P10700G-10M, 8GB GDDR5?

Ah, personally it's just me, but I avoid the Mini GPUs due to the potential for overheating, but that Zotac card I hear does somewhat alright.

You managed to find a 1070 for a reasonable price? haha

Yeah, but some people treat fan noise like death. haha. It definitely depends on the person for sure.

case ventilation has a bigger impact. I have an nzxt x61 as intake with a heavily oc'd cpu and now in summer my room can reach 30°C and even at 84°C temp target on my aorus gtx 1080 ti the fans can get a bit noisy.

Yeah, I did a build for a friend with a tempered glass side panel and it got really toasty inside (not enough airflow) / wow, losing that mesh side panel really does hit temps a bit.

I personally run my GPU fans pretty hard to keep them cool too (in a server) for vray rendering.

optimal performance with a aftermarket gpu cooler would be to have a cpu cooler, preferably watercooler, that is mounted on the top to exhaust the warm air and one or two fans on the front as intake. I really hope that Fractal Design is going to make a Define S with tempered glass side panel because I'd really look forward to get this case if i decide to upgrade cpu and mobo in the future. Not really 100% satisfied with my s340

Newedd is selling it for $450, not reasonable but desperate times. I am thinking of waiting abit more too.
