LTX 2017 Details

Hey Everyone!
 
We're proud to announce LTX 2017 - a meetup, convention, and tech themed carnival all crammed into one event. It's going to be held on July 29th, 11am - 5pm, in the arena bowl at the Langley Events Centre, here in Langley, BC, Canada.
 
The LMG team is pulling out all the stops to create the world's first ever Tech CON-ival: a fun, family friendly hodge-podge of games, exhibits, and socializing. Mind-splitting prizes are on the line, and the LMG staff will be lurking about, rocking you at the Case Toss, wrecking you at CS GO and pretending they don't know you at the Linus' Lambo photo booth. 
 
The goal is to have interactive tech themed booths, silent auction, activities, on stage unboxings and panels, and of course a good old fashioned meetup.
 
I'll update this post soon to include a "FAQ" section, but for now feel free to ask any questions that you have. You can get a hold of me either through here or on Twitter @colton_potter.

no 8, how many times with Taran say macro/keys during his tutorials

no 11, what rank are Edzel and Ivan?

no 16, why Razer?

 

also do i got to prank dennis?

will we see a live demonstration of linus dropping stuff?

will there be some kind of video later on or a livestream?

Edzel was global elite, i think he deranked, and I think Ivan is GN2 or something like that

And while you're at it, make sure to talk to Linus to put a rule in place so that all members on LTT are forced to use night theme, as to prevent this from happening ever again.

One question. It's a tech conival right? Cause on the booth list, WHY IS THERE HAMSTER BALLRACE AND SUMO WRESTLING? Does tech still mean technology? Or have the kool kids used it for another slang term. I have also also bin informed that the kool kids spell it kool instead of cool. The more you know.

Tech demos and prizes - I know it's a little confusing.

LTX 2017 is essentially these three things:

- Meetup

- Carnival

- Convention

 

We also tried to tie in some Channel Super Fun styled activities, like the one you mentioned. If we do it again next year we probably won't call it a Tech CON-ival lol.

I would be down to get a group together for a dinner or something around those lines. Anyone know a good place to migrate to after the event?

Oh man, sumo wrestling! My bud and I are both originally from Hawaii and pushing 300lbs, we're definitely in for some sumo wrestling LUL.

I've heard good things about the EXP bar, but that's way out in North Vancouver so a bit far away.

 

In other news, a buddy and myself might be going from the island across the water. Depending on your demeanor and attitude, we may be open to carpooling, as I have 2 empty seats in the back. The only catch is you must be able to tolerate crude Linus-like humor, periods of awkward silence because we get bored of hearing each other speak nonsense, and lots of Ellie Goulding, Shakira, and other such musical goodness. Oh, and you must be able to get to or near Nanaimo, as that's where we'd be leaving from.

I am heading down to Van via motorcycle so transport is not a issue  But that sounds like a plan!
