Micro ATX Or ATX

I have never had a micro atx board but wanted to know apart from having less PCI-E slots is there a performance difference between a micro atx & atx motherboard? Hows the overclocking like on a micro atx? I was kinda looking to build a very portable pc mostly will use it for VR gaming one I can bring down stairs in my living room and take back up again. I use to have a Phanteks Primo which actually did my back in carrying it up and down xD

Matx is better for portability but the OCing is limited to the manufacturer and parts and heatsinks

Get the Mirco-ATX with a locked CPU and good GPU. What is your budget?

The size different between micro and full ATX isn't that big. It does allow smaller cases, but then cooling can take a bit more care. If you want to go small, why not go all the way to to ITX? You're not going to set records for overclocking, but at stock you'll not likely find any difference.
