rog strix rgb gpus sucks nuts

back in the good old days when gpu prices where reasonable I bought a ASUS ROG strix gtx 1070. the card itself looks pretty nice but the rgb options are extremely underwhelming. The only real options are static (which really isnt even static because the different sets of LED's don't even shine the same color) and the "rainbow" effect which is awfully made. There isn't even something where you can put specific red green blue values. What I would really like to do is a some kind of moving varying shades of blue effect on the card or at least a decent rainbow effect. Would there be any way to achieve this kind of effect by either modifying the asus software or directly doing something to the cards leds??

I feel the same way about the asus motherboards. I only have set amount of options unlike what I have with the NZXT cam software.

my b350-f strix board has like 12 effects. tho being said it only lights up a tiny strip across the chipset

Same with my X99 deluxe motherboard, I can barely see anything
