Help upgraded pc and wont boot

Hi guys,

 

i'm in the procces of upgrading my pc i bought a r5 1600 16 gb ddr4 corsair lpx 3000 and an asus b350-m A motherboard

i have installed everything like normal plugged in and it wont work. I see lights on the motherboard so i know its recieving power.

i tried 1 sticj of ram and switching it testing ezch slot but no boot. Help guys what do i do?

 

specs: gtx 960 4gb msi 

r5 1600 

asus prime b350m a motherboard

ddr4 16gb lpx corsair 3000

be quiet system power 350 watt

First boot on AMD systems takes long time, just be patient

How long did you leave it on? I read somewhere that it could take a while for first post on a new AM4 system. (BIOS/UEFI configuration?)

Well i had an a-10 7850k which has a tdp of 95w this cpu has 65 so i dont understand

TDP doesn't represent power draw

This could be an issue that you're not supplying enough power to the CPU

Do you have some less powerful GPU to stick in just to try booting with it?

I have a 1060 it draws less power i think

I only have that 4 pin i think

I tried with an old low power gpu and still no fans/boot

Well did you connected cpu power cables properly? Can you send picture of it?

Does it have more connectors? Empty? Take picture from up, like bird view

From this picture, it looks like you're not filling the slot. You probably need a new power supply which can cope with the system.

I recommend tiers 1-3 from this list:

you need a minimum of a 8 connector for the new am4 boards and CPUs

you'll probably need something with 500w or higher to power your system

If you use a cheap power supply, it will likely take out a lot of your components if it dies.
