Gaming issue with msi gtx 650ti boost in Sli

Ok I am rather annoyed I have two MSI 650 TI BOOST 2GB running in Sli with them overclock. Also a AMD Phenom II  x6 1055T 2.8ghz OC @ 3.3ghz. And 16gb of Gskill memory. But assassin's creed 4 won't run past 20 frames in dark seaons or close quarter fighting. It will jump to 30 frame sometimes but not much. So do I need to just go for a gtx 770 or is my CPU to old? We're is the bottle necking at. HELP PLEASE this game is the best I ever played and want to be running it on max settings!!

Two low end cards in SLI=terribad.

One higher end card is pretty much always best.

It's probably the drivers, because (apparently) scaling in SLI is good for AC4.

Probably best to just upgrade your GPU setup. I don't know why you would have went with a 650 SLi anyway.

Turn some settings down in the mean time, like AA and Texture quality.

I've said this once, and I'll say it again. AC4 is an unoptimized piece of garbage. Stop buying games day one.

Wait for driver updates and patches from Ubisoft, I doubt there's anything you can do to fix this.

This is the most likely problem with AC4, your cards aren't bad.

the Ti Boost isn't low end and two of them perform around where the 670 is.

When was the last time you updated your Nvidia drivers? AC 4 isn't very optimized yet so ofc. your performance will suck.

I have two 650ti boost because one I got free and always wanted to try out SLI. I haven't downloaded new drivers since battlefield 4 so I will do that today. I know one card is better then sli but this is what I got and these card perform well for every other game I have. So assisan creed 4 needs some help. But the game does look amazing. Thanks for feed back.
