HD 598's for $150 is good????

hey guys im looking for some nice open headphones and it came to me that i can get the HD 598's for $150 off amazon. how good of a deal is this? or could their be better options that i havent found yet
oh and im in canada

MSRP is $200 ish but if you want to save money you can get 558 which are pretty much the same headphone in terms of sound quality and you really don't notice the difference between them and priced at $150 MSRP now.

yea ive heard that. but now im slightly confused (cause of others) the 598's are cheaper than the 558's. so definitely 598's? or something better for $150 CAD?

The 598's DO sound better, but it's not a huge difference. But with the Amazon.ca sale that you're referring to, yes it's a good deal! I just picked up a pair an hour ago from Amazon.
