If the 3d mark performance translates into games and if it gets the right price tag it might still sell well despite all the dissapointment surrounding the FE card.

Has no one noticed that might be the worlds slowest 1080ti? I'm having trouble finding a 1080ti that slow. I'm also having issue finding a 1080 as slow as theirs. Something is fucky.

Thats a firestrike result not 3DMark11. Although you might be right on fake. I'm having trouble finding 1080 and 1080ti scores so low on GPU Score.

I just beat that 1070 with a 2600k at 4.5Ghz and my 980ti at 1417. These benchmarks are BS. I was being bottlenecked in a couple of those graphics benchmarks as usage was in the 90-95% range instead of 100.

its going to come down to price and with vega using hbm2 i dont see this one making alot of money for AMD... if its cheap enough (400-500 range) i could see pairing it with a 1600 maybe 1700 for nice not going to call it a budget build but amazing performance for dollars build heh

Spoiler: they're almost identical in gaming performance.

 

It clearly shows that Vega's gaming drivers aren't ready yet as it's IPC in pro apps is great

There is a new cryptocoin in town with much more to offer than bit coin ever could. So it started a new gold rush. But it's temporary as they will go away from Gpus mining

And here I was hoping we'd not see another boom like bitcoin caused last time... Damn, doesn't look like im upgrading to new gpus for the next year or so. Time to check out the used market in my area then I suppose.
