Logitech G502 onboard storage

Vortosh

So this may be a ridiculous question but dose anyone know of a way of using the onboard memory in the G502 as a mass storage device?

I have a friend who said they once did it and had about half a GB of storage. Unfortunately they have forgotten (or maybe never knew in the first place) how to do it.

All I want is about 10MB of storage that is built in to the mouse and will show up when I plug it in to a system.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me an idea as to whether this is at all possible.

I'm not entirely sure this is even possible. First off, the mouse doesn't have that much storage on board. Second, no OS I've heard of will recognize the mouse as a mass storage device. But I could be wrong. I personally use the G502 as my main mouse, and the Logitech gaming software you need to do something like that isn't that advanced.

But hey, someone has probably found a way to do it.

Good Luck!

You can't. The chip itself is only a few megabytes in size if a saved mouse profile is anything to go off of.
