Widescreen gaming monitor under $250 anyone? Today the 29" LG 29UM59 dropped to $229 after coupon at BuyDig. The same monitor goes for $335 on Amazon and at least $334+ elsewhere.

What happened to 29UM69G?

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Not a bad deal, but I'd prefer higher resolutions and refresh rates for a monitor that wide.  1440p @ 144hz.
