If you have a BIOS update installed that supports the 7000 series processors, then yes.

Hardware wise? Yes. The software would have some issues but if you have a compatible BIOS or a version you can switch to, you should be fine.

If you do not update the bios before installing the processor then you might not be able to even start the computer.
