you own Apple products but claim Apple makes awful products.....meaning you willingly bought multiple awful products.

That says a lot.

the MBP is not awful by any stretch. Its marketed for a different class of consumer.

Not a gamer who wants to run benchmarks 24/7

To be fair, it's not that hard.  I think he might just be playing dumb out of laziness and lack of a desire to spend the energy thinking.

I bought the  ASUS Q325UA, A.K.A. the thinest, lightest and most powerful 2-in-1. It is extremely light, extremely thin and packs a i7-7th gen,16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, granted you are dealing with integrated graphics . But i have noticed great battery life and only gets hot when you are setting it on a cloth material such as bedding. Plus a fingerprint scanner which is pretty cool if you ask me, has 2 USB-C ports and comes with a dongle that breaks out into USB-C, HDMI and USB-A. Ran me $1200 at BestBuy NA

Question about this laptop: can you invert the function and media keys. I hate having to hold function to change brightness

you can always do it. use something like a keyboard remapping software.

I can't actually change some of the keys with the zenbook I have now. Most remapping programs don't recognize brightness media keys.
