Whats up with the Gigabyte AB350 Gaming?

Hello all!

 

I have been recently looking at motherboards for my first gaming pc, and I stumbled upon the Gigabyte AB350 Gaming (NOT the gaming 3).

bad, and possibly suggest a good, overclockable am4 motherboard around the 100€ price range (MAX 105€ on: amazon.fr, prodimex.ch).

It's an OK motherboard, most people seem to dislike it because it only comes with Realtek ALC887 instead of the Gaming 3's ALC1220. Too minimal difference for me to justify paying extra 20€ for it.

So far for me it's worked more than well enough, everything working just fine.

Power delivery is identical on the ATX Gigabyte AB350 lineup so that's the only difference, and some lighting.
