It is the only type of SSD that fits in my laptop. Before I go and order will it be compatible with an alienware 13 r3 laptop?

As long as it's a 2280 M.2 stick and you're certain your M.2 slot is at least B keyed (see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:M2_Edge_Connector_Keying.svg), then you should be good to go.

you can see with your own eyes

see the pin separator it has left, right  or both

left = sata only

right = nvme only

both = both

coz i dont have such a razer product to burn my bank accounts
