G920 Is Recognized by Windows 8.1 but not by the Logitech Gaming Software

Title pretty much. Running Windows 8.1 64 bit. I have LGS 8.92.67 x64 installed. The LGS software does NOT detect that I have a G920. This is extremely infuriating for a device that cost over 300 dollars. Windows recognizes the device in "Device and Printers" as G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel for XBox One. Inside device manager I find it listed under Universal Serial Bus devices. When it gets plugged in it does the initial wheel rotation. I have tried different USB ports. I have uninstalled the device from device manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the LGS software. I do not know what else to try at this point. Upon research it seems like a common problem, which is disheartening.

I have a G29 and it occasionally does that too, the solution for mine is just a restart, and LGS detects it as per normal again.

Been through about 10 restarts, never once detected there.

Do you have another computer to try it out on? If it does not work on that computer it may be your G920 at fault here.
