850W Power Supply overkill for a EVGA GTX 1070FTW?

What's your full specs?
Get a decent 450-550W PSU

850W PSU is more than enough for 1070 SLI. A 500W 80+ Bronze will do

850w is overkill, 650w is gonna be enough unless you plan on doing 200w+cards in sli.

Two 1070s wouldn't even stress an 850W PSU.

 

Is an EVGA 650GQ an option available to you? What about a 550W Seasonic G-series? Both are good, relatively inexpensive options.
