Streaming in 4K? Damn son.

Might as well use the card to it's max performance. And with a 12 thread CPU and Gb Ethernet that shouldn't be a problem.

Actually, Nashville. How big is the CPU power connector? I don't know if I need 4+4 or 8 or 8+4

If you get an EVGA or Corsair PSU, you can buy colored power cables for them. You can't customize them as much as, say, Cablemods, but they're like 100$ vs the 400+ that Cablemods cost

System: i7-4790K | Asus Maximus Formula VII | 16GB (4x4) Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer | 2x Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 | Thermalfake Core P3 | Samsung 850 Pro 256GB (OS) | WD 1TB | EVGA G2 850W | Windows Non-Consentual 10

Displays: Asus ROG Swift PG279Q | Samsung UN48JU6700

Sound: Sony STR-DN1050 receiver | Athena AS-B2 (Desk) | Sony SS-CS3 (TV area) | Sennheiser HD280 Pro (Mobile/Sound Recording)

Mobile: ZTE Axon 7

I was guessing and I don't know that many states I can only name off about 10 of them because I live in Canada

Oh I was assuming you were getting a premade pack with all the cables, not just the only ones you need.

If you already bought a set of cables, then why did you post this question?

I didn't get them yet because I'm not positive on the CPU power delivery.

By streaming 4K I'm assuming you mean watch netflix. I dont think there's any streaming service that supports outputting more than 1080p 60fps that i know of...

You will need

24pin Mobo connector

8 pin CPU connector

AT LEAST one 8pin and one 6pin PCI-E power connector for a Founders edition 1080ti, Most likely two 8 pin PCI-E for an aftermarket design. (Theres some cards like the GALAX HOF that use THREE 8 pins but those aren't nearly as common. The Asus STRIX and EVGA FTW3 versions both use dual 8 pins)

Also, are you looking at Extension cables, or cables to entirely replace the cables that come with the PSU? (Non modular vs modular?)

Why X299 ? You would probably be better going with either a Ryzen R7 or waiting for ThreadRipper if you want more for your money.
