Can't decide between these two motherboards for a Ryzen 1500x

Go to solution Solved by themctipers,

one is ATX and one is MATX (bigger and smaller)

go for the first one :P

Hello,

I'm currently in the process of upgrading my current computer's CPU up to a Ryzen 1500x, and I've found two motherboards: other than USB 3.0's (which I don't really care about) I'm not seeing much of a difference other than price.

MOBO 2: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/yBtWGX/asrock-ab350-pro4-atx-am4-motherboard-ab350-pro4

My current PC's Specifications:

Motherboard: - ASUS A55BM-E

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9 GHZ Quad Core

RAM: 8 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 797MHz

Graphics: Nvida GTX 1050 OC 2GB

PSU: 650V

What I'm hoping to upgrade into:

what case you getting??? as if it's a micro ATX you'd need to get 1 and if it's ATX you could get both but 1 would be a bit small in it. That being said 1 can support higher frequencies, which is better for overclocking. (I suggest changing the ram to a 2933 or a 3200Hz RAM as 1 supports only those two not 3000HZ which might cause issues) and 2 only supports up to 2666Hz which means your higher frequency of your RAM might be wasted

The Lord of all Toasters (1920X 1080ti 32GB)

The Toasted Controller (i5 4670, R9 380, 24GB)

Bread and Butter Pudding (i7 7700HQ, 1050ti, 16GB)

Pinoutbutter Sandwhich (raspberry pi 3 B)

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

loaf and let dough (A printer that doesn't print black ink)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

Matter of Loaf and death (some old shitty AMD laptop)

windybread (4X E5470, intel HD, 32GB ECC) (use coming soon, maybe)

And more, several more

Go 1400 or 1600, 1500x isn't great value compared to them :P

Could you help me in finding a decent RAM that's not too expensive as I'm trying to stick within £325 and here's my case http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/elite-311/
