I need to clear the cmos every time I turn on my pc

I upgraded my motherboard from asus h61 m-k to a gigabyte ga-z68p-d3s,my cpu is I5 3570k.The problem with my pc is that I need clear cmos every time I turn my pc  on and it is annoying the hell out of me.any help would be appreciated.

@aquila1998could be a dead CMOS battery

Am 100%sure that it is not the battery because when I clear the cmos everything works good.

Another thing is that if don't clear the cmos the fans and the whole computer would turn on and off.

How do you flash bios.my motherboard is gigabyte ga-z68p-d3s

How do you flash bios especially on a gigabyte board

afaik Gigabyte offers three ways to flash bios, two of them are @bios and q flash.

@bios is a tool you use inside of windows, q flash is a low level bios flashing protocol to flash bios with a usb stick while posting.

 

i've had  problems with @bios , so i would recommend to use q flash (if you're motherboard supports it) because it's low level -> theoretical lower risk for failures.
