Hey, i was thinking of buying Player unknown battlegrounds and just wanted to know if my laptop would have any problems running it.

Nvidia Geforce 940m

Intel Core i7 5500U @ 2.40 Ghz

8GB Ram

What if i played with everything on low and maybe even a smaller resolution

The 940M isn't really suitable or gaming, despite being made by NVIDIA.  It's not suitable for modern AAA titles.

still no. My laptop (965m and 6500u) runs it on all low 1600x900 at 40-60 in cities.

What laptop has a 965M and a 6500u?  Is it the old Alienware 13?

PUBG is not optimize yet, so don't know the baseline for hardware requirement

Alright, so i ran the game and it played perfectly at 60fps for around 20 minutes and my computer just shut off by itself
