rx580 for 1080p ultrawide

Go to solution Solved by Max_Settings,

For 2560x1080, yeah you should be fine. It should max out most games. Definitely not for 3440x1440 though

Hello,

The title says most...

I'm looking into getting a rx580 for 1080 ultrawide, it will be paired with an r5 1600. Would this combo be 'good' for the resolution?

Also I want to use a second 16:9 1080p monitor next to the ultrawide, I'll be gaming on only one at a time, but probably with something like skype on the other.

I also want to mention that I want to record (gameplay) with the computer (no streaming).

Games I play are quite modern titles, like battlefield, and newer racegames. (I think bf is the 'benchmark')

So should one get an rx580 or should one wait for the to be released amd lineup?

If you're formally an engineer, avoid responsibility. That's what senior engineers get paid for.

Depends on your budget. If you can't spend more than for the 580, get it. If you have more budget, wait for Vega.
