TBH RMA would be your best option because if you do find a battery and that isn't the problem then your fucked.PLus RMA is free.their Rma is really good and you should take advantage of it.One time my keyboard was messed up and they completely overhauled the whole system(new mobo ram etc.)

I mean you could try a replacement battery from ebay, but it could be a faulty or poorly designed laptop. Acer... isn't known for quality...

Yeah, lesson learned on my part. Im shipping it off for rma, and then im going to give it to my sister and ill buy a new one. UX330UA maybe? Thoughts on this machine?

Asus is a bit better. That one should work nicely, the SSD is a nice touch

the laptop I have now is similar. something like a 6200u 8gigs of ram and a 250gb ssd, but its 15 inches which is kind of big to carry around and its all plastic. Do you have anything else you would chose over it that is similarly specd and similar price?
