An error keeps coming up when I try to install Windows

Try downloading the ISO again and burn the DVD at a slow speed (or just use USB).

Have you tried downloading the ISO to a USB stick?

How do you change the speed that it writes? I'm.just right clicking on the iso file and saying burn to dvd

I've never done that. Use ImgBurn (freeware) and you can control the burn speeds.
