gpu idles realy hot

for GPUs, hot means anything above 80 and it goes dangerous if it hits 90+

 

the increase in IDLE temp is due to the fact that you have more monitors and also due to the fact that you have increased refresh rates - the GPU has to push those high framerate somehow, thus increased GPU clocks, thus increased temps

hello

 

i have an GTX 1070 superclocked and it was Always idleling at around 35c without the fans spinning.

i recently bought a 1440p 144hz monitor and used my old 1080p monitor as a second monitor. but my GPU is idleling at 48c with fans on 500rpm.

is it normal that my GPU is idleling a 10 degrees hotter with fans on?

 

ps: if i turn my fans of it idles at 53c. just for comparrison
