Hi guys!

I know most of you are PC gamers, and most of you are relatively new to this whole PC gaming community...which is great!

Now, this video i link here does talk about performance in the latest ghost recon wildlands game, but frankly it's more than that...

it will teach you how to interpret the data from MSI afterburner and will give you all the information you need about CPU performance

when it comes to gaming.

it's REALLY worth your time to listen to this video carefuly, i'm sure you'll learn some very interesting/important stuff!

...especially if you love being on this forum and perhaps providing advises on PC parts to buy and what not!

Topics discussed in the video:
- MSI afterburner monitoring tool
- GPU load metric
- AMD FX CPU's and how they perform in modern games and WHY
- Bottlenecks, identify and understanding them
- Ryzen 5 and why it is so smooth in modern games (framepacing)
...and other interesting information worth your time :)

Interesting how it commented on the fact it "feels smoother". I said exactly the same about my 1700 after switching from my 4790k @ 4.7ghz and that was with my ram stuck at 2400mhz, even though on the before and after benchmarks I did, the Ryzen was slightly slower (see my Temporal Snow Ryzen Refresh build log in my signature if anyone is interested)

Everyone said (or a lot) that I was just getting a "my upgrade was worth it feeling" or comments to that effect, but I did and still believe it feels a lot smoother.

Glad to see he agrees

I'm always seeing reports for fps min/max and averages but no one draws a graph of the mode which would be interesting to see. It would prove your smooth feelings
