Windows 7: Internet Explorer failed updates error 9C59

I was hoping someone would know the secret to getting these updates to work. The company I work for needs Internet Explorer; so, unfortunately, using another browser just isn't an option. I have a few hundred computers that I need to upgrade from IE 8 to 11. Some computers upgrade fine, others give me the 9C59 error over and over and over. I tried the offline installer, and it told me windows explorer was preventing the installation. I don't know how that's possible.

Revert the updates and try again. Maybe it was connection issue.
