Hi guys,

Just built my new Ryzen 5 1600 system and it's fast and all however I'm getting hangs and random BSODs with the system (even with settings on auto).

Some of the errors include

-kernel security check failure (Often - during computer startup / crashes)

-DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION! (sometimes)

My system:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 + stock cooler

RAM:Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2x8 (CMK16GX4M2A2400C16) not on official QVL list for the MB* (maybe the issue?? no extra stick of ram to confirm)

MB: Asrock AB350M PRO4

GPU: Zotac Gtx 1050

Power supply: Corsair CX450M (new version)

SSD: WD blue 250GB ssd

OS: Windows 10

In the OS I would often also get errors messages in regards to applications getting blocked access to the graphics card.

There may be multiple things going on here, but one step at a time. If you have memtest86(+) or similar, give it a run just as a quick check. It is possible to have bad ram from new. I'd suggest setting ram to 2133 temporarily to help remove it from the equation.

Check for and apply latest bios. I'd prefer to do this after the ram checks, as you don't want to risk corrupting it, or it crashing during update.
