Is my cinebench score good?

I just did a CPU and GPU benchmark via cinebench

CPU - Ryzen 7 1700, GPU - GTX 1060 6 GB

16 Gigs Corsair vengeance LPX 2400

CPU score(single core) - 111

Multi core - 1120

GPU - 67.32

I want to make 3D short film(Around 4 min.) using maya

Will this system will able to handle complex simulations and give good render time?

Thanks

Not sure why you seem to be getting such a low Multi-Core score, even with mine running stock between 3 to 3.2 GHz, I'm able to get 1300.  Regardless though, you should be able to do all kinds of rendering absolutely fine with any Ryzen 7 chip.

My GPU score is: 90.25

CPU score:

1342 (multi core)

128 (single core)

10.51 (MP ratio)

See system details in my signature.

Task manager is showing only 3 GHZ maximum speed, is that right?

With HWmonitor I have seen 3199Mhz maximum speed, is that good?

I wouldn't pay much attention to the speed on Task Manager, HW Monitor is definitely a much more trusty source.  Running at 3.2 is usually the range it will boost up to, but even then you should be hitting 1300 on stock frequencies.

U run it on stock . Overclock it  a bit . Should be able to run it 3.7 and above. There us alot of factor u need to check . are u running a lot of thing at the background , did u accidentally disable core ? Ryzen love higher speed of ram speed . Try to push ur ram to 2666 . Might help a bit .

  • 6 months later...

I am getting a CPU score of 1550 in cinebench over clocked at 4GHz and 1.4v

I did the test again but with just stock settings and got 1627 at 3GHz

I think i need to fiddle with my voltage to find a sweet spot

My build is:

CPU - Ryzen 7 1700

GPU - GTX 1060 6GB

Motherboard - MSI B350 PC Mate

Ram - GSkill 2400 16GB
