Do microatx boards have any disadvantages?

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

Typically you lose a couple of PCIe slots, sometimes the full ATX version will have more SATA ports or an additional M.2 port.

As for the main components, they work just as well as full ATX boards, especially for what you're putting in the system.

it just will have less ram, pcie, sata and m.2 ports and probably smaller oc potential, but it won't affect performance.

You may need to do a BIOS update on it first so the g4560 will work, depending when the board was manufactured.

PC - CPU Ryzen 5 1600 - GPU Power Color Radeon 5700XT- Motherboard Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming - RAM 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB - Storage 525GB Crucial MX300 SSD + 120GB Kingston SSD   PSU Corsair CX750M - Cooling Stock - Case White NZXT S340

Peripherals - Mouse Logitech G502 Wireless - Keyboard Logitech G915 TKL  Headset Razer Kraken Pro V2's - Displays 2x Acer 24" GF246(1080p, 75hz, Freesync) Steering Wheel & Pedals Logitech G29 & Shifter

I want to put a g4560 with rx 470 in there too but its so small..

??? what exactly is "too small" about it ...

if it has the right CPU socket - the CPU will fit

if it has a pci-e 16x slot - the gpu will fit ...

by the way, from what i see on the pictures, that board is a DTX form factor, not a micro ATX

I thought micro atx's were like 9x9 inches? not exact numbers but around there. It does look a bit small for micro atx.
